Cookie Policy
Effective: February 15, 2026 · Last updated: February 15, 2026
This site does not use cookies. No consent banner. No tracking. No dark patterns. You can close the tab now if that is all you needed to know.
Still here? Good. Here is the full explanation for compliance purposes.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. They are commonly used for tracking, analytics, advertising, and maintaining user sessions. Many websites set dozens of cookies the moment you arrive.
We set zero.
2. Our Analytics: Simple Analytics
We use Simple Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns on this site. Simple Analytics is fundamentally different from conventional analytics tools:
- No cookies — none are set, stored, or read
- No personal data — IP addresses are never collected or stored
- No fingerprinting — no device or browser fingerprints are generated
- No cross-site tracking — visitors are not tracked across websites
- EU-based data processing — data is processed and stored in the European Union
- GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant — by design, not by configuration
Because Simple Analytics does not collect personal data or use cookies, no consent is required under GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, or CCPA. This is not a loophole — it is the result of choosing a tool that respects visitors by default.
3. No Third-Party Cookies
We do not use any services that set third-party cookies:
- No Google Analytics
- No Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
- No advertising networks
- No social media tracking widgets
- No remarketing or retargeting scripts
- No A/B testing tools that use cookies
4. Google Fonts
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google Fonts does not set cookies. However, when your browser requests font files, Google may log standard HTTP request data (IP address, browser type, timestamp). This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. No cookies are involved in this process.
5. Future Changes
If we ever introduce functionality that requires cookies (such as user accounts or comment systems), we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms before any cookies are set.
Our default position is to avoid cookies entirely. If a feature requires them, we will evaluate whether the feature is worth the privacy trade-off. Usually, it is not.
6. Your Browser Settings
Since we do not set cookies, there is nothing to manage, block, or delete from our site. If you want to manage cookies from other sites, consult your browser's settings:
